Spock's World, Spock/McCoy

Bones learned Vulcan for Spock, and then blew away the entire world with his awesome. And the book ends with the two of them heading off to bed together (no, really, it does). So. How did that happen?

It does? *checks copy* HOLY SHIT IT DOES.

Okay, that settles it. I've suspected for a while that Diane Duane is a stealth Spock/McCoy shipper (especially given how Kirk finds them together on not!Vulcan in The Wounded Sky) and it looks like this is entirely true and plausible.

THIS ONLY MAKE ME LOVE HER MORE YOU KNOW.

Actually, the lines are:

"Me too, Spock," Bones said, "Wait up. You coming, Jim?"

"In a little while. Night, you two."

Which implies that the Captain has a standing invitation. :D (Can I write that instead?)

We-ell, I suppose! But if you write it OT3 I hope someone else writes it straight-up S/Mc, too. :D
